How to set up Shizuku for MLBB injectors on Android 11+

Set up Shizuku in minutes: install it, start it with wireless debugging, grant access to your MLBB injector, and keep it running so injections stop failing.

What Shizuku actually is

Shizuku is a free, open-source app that lets apps use Android system APIs with your permission, without root. It runs a small background service that other apps can call once you approve them.

For an MLBB injector that means it can reach the parts of Android it needs to apply skins, while still requiring your explicit approval.

Why MLBB injectors need it

Starting with Android 11, apps can no longer freely read and replace assets in another app's storage. Shizuku bridges that restriction, which is why almost every modern MLBB injector asks you to install it.

Install and start Shizuku

  1. 01Install Shizuku from the Play Store

    Search for Shizuku in the Play Store and install it like any other app.

  2. 02Enable Developer options

    Open Settings, About phone, then tap Build number seven times until Developer options appear.

  3. 03Turn on Wireless debugging

    In Developer options, enable Wireless debugging. Keep your phone on the same Wi-Fi network.

  4. 04Start Shizuku

    Open Shizuku, tap Start via Wireless debugging, allow the notification, and wait until it reports that it is running.

Grant Shizuku access to Ryumoto VX

  • Open Ryumoto VX while Shizuku is running.
  • Accept the Shizuku permission request when it appears.
  • If you dismissed the prompt, restart both apps and try again.

Keep Shizuku running

Shizuku stops when your phone reboots, and some battery savers kill it in the background. If injections suddenly fail, open Shizuku and start the service again — it usually takes a few seconds.

Add Shizuku to your battery optimisation exceptions so Android is less likely to stop it.

Troubleshooting

  • Shizuku will not start: turn Wireless debugging off and on again, then retry.
  • No permission prompt in Ryumoto VX: force stop both apps, start Shizuku, then open Ryumoto VX.
  • Injection fails midway: confirm Shizuku still shows as running before injecting again.
